      1. Government Departments & Agencies
        Equality and Human Rights CommissionGrant programmes are offered from several of the main government departments (e.g. Health, Home Office, Education). When offered they will be specific and time limited but the criteria can sometimes be applied for by church groups.

      2. European Social FundEuropean Grants
        Often channeled through government departments such as Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), this is often social, European Social Fund (ESF), or European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)

      3. Community FoundationRegional grants
        These are usually administrated by organizations such as Community Foundation
        Examples of these funders are: Modernisation Fund

        These range from large trusts to the National Lottery and Children in Need

      These are small private ranks mainly endowment generated, ranging from very small to large sums of money, sometimes quite targeted. There are many trusts that will specifically support Christian organizations, e.g. the Rank Foundation.
