- Government Departments & Agencies
Grant programmes are offered from several of the main government departments (e.g. Health, Home Office, Education). When offered they will be specific and time limited but the criteria can sometimes be applied for by church groups.
European Grants
Often channeled through government departments such as Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), this is often social, European Social Fund (ESF), or European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)

Ecumenical Partnerships Funding
- Mustart Seed Grant part of Church Urban Fund, available to ecumenical schemes, awards of up to £5k for projects in total value do not exceed £15k

Local Trusts
These are small private ranks mainly endowment generated, ranging from very small to large sums of money, sometimes quite targeted. There are many trusts that will specifically support Christian organizations, e.g. the Rank Foundation.
