Salt Cellar Youth Project

The Salt Cellar Youth Project was established in 1997, by the Methodist Church,  working with the local high schools across the borough of Oldham, now based in the town centre of Oldham, Greater Manchester.  As a town centre venue the café is open to young people from all communities, backgrounds and faiths.  This will include some young people from the most deprived areas.  One of which will be St Mary's Estate which is closest to the venue.  We hope that the venue will break down barriers of ethnicity, faith and social status as the young people mix together, build friendships and in the future perhaps be involved in projects together.
