District Climate Group One of the primary objectives from the District’s Mission and Development Plan, is to ‘take and promote action to address responsibilities for the climate emergency’. Deacon John Brobbey chairs the District’s Climate Group, who meet monthly, to discuss Action For Hope. The 2021 Methodist Conference set a target of becoming a net zero emissions Church by 2030.
