On 28th February 2022, faith leaders met in St. Peter’s Square in Manchester to stand against the Nationality and Borders Bill.

Representing over 1000 Faith Leaders in England, Scotland and Wales (and 60 in Greater Manchester) from the 6 major faith groups in the UK, the Manchester & Stockport District was represented by Revd. Ian Rutherford, Revd. Dr. Andrew Lunn, Revd. Glayne Worgan and Revd. Cathy Bird, standing alongside other faith leaders such as Bishop John Arnold and Rabbi Warren Elf. These leaders have written to the Prime Minster, urging him to reconsider the Bill.
