Lord of all Wisdom, we pray for discernment for all those seeking to find a way forward in these times of change and movement. As our churches respond to the changing world, to new needs, new technologies, and new ways of working, help us to find the path you are laying out for us.
Lord of all Innovation, we pray for those making bold choices, trying new things. All of creation comes from you, and we embrace the new as part of it. Help us to seek help when we need it, rather than pull back, and remind ourselves that no matter how long we have been in your service, or how well we think we know you, you can still surprise us, and refresh us.
Lord of all perseverance, we pray for the churches who in spite of trials and difficult times, keep on plugging on. Who when faced with smaller congregations and smaller bank accounts have found ways to breathe new life into their societies. We pray for their faithfulness and determination.
Lord of all Hopefulness, we pray for the seekers. Those who regardless of what is going on around them, are still looking for you, looking for ways to serve you, and pray that you will refresh and rejuvenate us and them, giving us new energy and hunger to walk ever closer to you.
